What is LEED?
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED® gives building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings' performance. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. LEED is the nationally accepted standard for green buildings developed by the USGBC membership.
John Hueber Homes is a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and has been involved with the LEED® for Homes™ program from its inception as a pilot program in 2006. We have achieved certification on more homes than any other builder in the greater Cincinnati region.
Our LEED projects to date include:
12- LEED for Homes - Certified
7- LEED for Homes - Silver
3- LEED for Homes - Gold
Due to our experience with the program, we can navigate the LEED process with ease, and ensure that your project will be the most energy efficient and environmentally conscious home possible.
